Fishing on

Today I was fishing on Bungsamran lake. Had a great time. The owner of the of the fishing company, Eddie and his Thai guide Alley were there giving pointers and helping out with the bait (which is a balls of rice husk.

Awesome service, http://www.fishthailand.co.uk/

Day 8

So much to do so little time. Today I went to Chatuchak Weekend Market (JJ's) which is a 27 acre flea market, tons of good food too. Bargaining is a the name of the game here. Most of the time you can talk them down 50-70%.

I have made it to many of the major sights that I wanted to. But there are dozens of more I would like to see. Tomorrow is my big fishing trip.

After a long day of hitting the temples and sights I went to the Vertigo Moon bar at the Banyan Tree hotel. It is 61 stories up and has a awesome view of the city. After that I grabbed some food at a street stall and found this awesome Thai jazz club near my hotel.

Today I just took it easy. Walked around the shopping area, got a 1 hour long foot massage for $10.

Tomorrow Muay Thai fights!

Day four

Sorry for the limited updates, I am trying to get as much in as possible in the time I am here. Also my net access limited to my hotel room and a nearby internet cafe.

Another great day in Bangkok. Today I was able to spend more time in Chinatown and see the Golden Buddha.

Day Two

Today I went to the Grand Palace and China town.

At the grand Palace, As with most museums there is there photography allowed, but on the palace grounds it is allowed.

Today for breakfast I bought a bunch of fresh fruit from a street vendor for 20 baht or about 65 cents per bag.

For lunch I went to Little India (Pahurat) and had some awesome Rogan Josh.

Day one

After about 6 hours of solid sleep, it is time to get out and learn the city.
Had a good breakfast of beef and rice from a street stall. The BTS rail system is very efficient
Day one.
Definitely a good learning day. The bts sky train is fast and a fair price for 20 baht(70 cents) or less if you buy a unlimited day pass for 120 baht ($4).

The food is unbelievably good and everywhere. You can't walk for then half a block without running into a street stall or cafe.

Other random facts.
In thailand....
McDonalds has beer and makes deliveries
You can buy a maserati at the mall
Street vendors are closed on Monday's
Starbucks are every where and the prices are the same as back home ( my smoothy cost more then my sit down dinner and 3x more then my breakfast,

Stay tuned for pictures

.

Made it to Bangkok.

20 hours on a plane.
Time for some sleep
